Scottish Interactive Technology Centre (SITC)

Qualitative studies of the impact and effective use of ICT on learning are not abundant, indeed a major weakness of ICT protagonists like SiTC is the inability to go beyond the anecdotal and visceral beliefs on the value of ICT in learning.

The MIICE project and case studies is an attempt to establish a corpus of qualitative evidence to go beyond both the anecdotal and quantitative. From the outset SiTC believes that ICT can only be viewed as a part of the learning process and can never by itself constitute a complete learning 'process'.
